Results on Celina Cass' Autopsy ‘still Pending'

(NECN: Eileen Curran, Concord, NH) - No cause of death yet for Celina Cass.

The medical examiner is awaiting toxicology results before making a ruling on the 11-year-old New Hampshire girl's death, but the Attorney General's office feels it has enough evidence to continue its criminal investigation.

Celina's body was found Tuesday in a river not far from her Stewartstown, N.H., home.

She had been missing a week.

The Attorney General's office says as far as the time of her death, it seems consistent with the presumed time of death: Tuesday, July 26th, when her family reported her missing.

Investigators have been talking with her family, her mother and step father, as well as her father in the case.

They say that's standard procedure when a child is missing, and it is also standard to interview known sex offenders in the area, which they are doing in this case.
