(NECN) - Coffee drinkers in Rhode Island and Connecticut will have to go someplace else besides Tim Hortons to get their coffee fix.
The Tim Horton's coffee chain is shutting dozens of stores across southern New England.
The chain will close 34 under-performing locations in Rhode island and Connecticut. The closures only affect corporately-run locations.
There is no word on how many people will be laid off. Tim Hortons says the move is part of a plan to focus on boosting company wide profits.
