Detectives from the Hartford, Connecticut, police major crimes unit are investigating a death Tuesday morning.
The victim had suffered a trauma and was found in the street near 100 Trumbull St. at 6:30 a.m., according to a Tweet from Hartford police.
The victim was pronounced dead at St Francis Hospital.
Trumbull Street is closed from Pulaski Circle to Pearl Street as police investigate.
Police ask witnesses to call the department.
