MTA police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metro-North train near the Norwalk, Connecticut, station.
MTA officials say the pedestrian was struck around 1:40 a.m. Monday near Wilbur Ave.
MTA police are attempting to identify the pedestrian and find out why he or she was on the tracks.
Officials say train service has not been impacted because of the accident.
