Two men and one woman were found dead in two homes Saturday in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, police confirm.
Police do not believe anyone besides the deceased was involved in the deaths.
Two of the bodies were found after officers conducted a well-being check at a home on Lakeside Drive. A third was later found on Montgomery Road.
All of them are thought to be related.
A man and woman in their 70s and a man in his 40s were among the dead.
Detectives and crime units are investigating at both scenes, according to broadcast producer Hannah Lilly of necn affiliate WCSH.
The state medical examiner's office in Augusta will perform autopsies Sunday. Officials expect to release more information Sunday afternoon.
