Investigators are on the scene of a fatal fire in Millinocket, Maine.
The victim is likely Michael Olin, 55, who lived alone in the one-story home on Elm St. The body has been transported to the State Medical Examiner's Officer in Augusta for positive identification.
The blaze was spotted by a newspaper carrier just before 4 a.m. The house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
The victim's body was found near the front door; investigators suspect he was trying to escape.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
There was no sign of any working smoke detectors in the house.
