2-Alarm Fire in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Leaves 12 Homeless

The blaze broke out around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday

Twelve people were temporarily left homeless after a 2-alarm fire in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on Tuesday afternoon.

Haverhill Fire officials said the fire broke out at 1:37 p.m. in a 2-family home at 57 South Central St.

No one was injured but 12 people who lived in the building were displaced. 

Fire officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation. They said there is no word on the extent of the damage.
