Two teens were arrested Monday for vandalizing a Red Line train with spray paint and permanent markers, MBTA Transit Police confirm.

Police responded to the station at Downtown Crossing for a report of graffiti. They arrested Corey Deltufo and Manuel Ortiz, both 18 of Boston. They say the paint on Deltufo's hands was the same color that was sprayed on the operator's door.

According to police, the suspects also had permanent markers in the same colors that were used on the door.

The teens are expected to be arraigned Tuesday.
