The IndyCar race is officially coming to Boston.
After lengthy negotiations Grand Prix Boston has finally reached an agreement with the city, MassDOT, the MBTA and MassPort.
Mayor Marty Walsh's office says the 2.2-mile-long race is approved, pending the completion of traffic and safety permits by organizers.
