A lost dog was found on the Massachusetts Turnpike amid the bitter cold Wednesday.
Sturbridge police say the dog was found around the Brimfield/Sturbridge line.
They're currently looking for the dog's owners.
After Wednesday, high temperatures will be in the teens and 20s, with wind chill values never warmer than single digits to around 10. Wednesday night brings a dangerous wind chill, with frostbite possible in just 30 minutes of exposure to bare skin as temperatures drop to either side of zero and wind chill values drop between -15 and -30.
Anyone with information on the dog is asked to call police at 508-347-2525 ext. 0.
