A former Massachusetts chemist, whose negligence led to hundreds of defendants being released from prison, is now herself out of prison.
The Boston Herald reports that Annie Dookhan is now on parole, but state officials have not said when she was released.
In 2013, Dookhan was sentenced to three-to-five years in prison after pleading guilty to several charges, including tampering with evidence.
Officials say she tainted evidence in as many as 46,000 cases.
