The man killed in an ammonia leak in Boston this week has been identified.
The man's family has identified the victim as Brian Caron of Peabody, Massachusetts.
Caron, a facilities manager at Stavis Seafoods in the Seaport District. was killed Wednesday night when more than 5,000 pounds of ammonia leaked, sparking a hazmat situation and forcing the neighborhood to shelter in place.
His family says he loved sports, coached his daughter's soccer team and was a big Patriots fan.
"Brian was an amazing, devoted father and husband," said his sister-in-law, Pam Caron. "He just truly loved life and loved his family and lived for that."
Caron leaves behind a wife and two young daughters. His father says his wake will be held on Monday.
