There's a new hub dedicated to runners near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
On Thursday, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh was present for the grand opening of RunBase.
"It will serve as a resource, and also a tourist destination. A place where Bostonians will be proud to call their own," Mayor Walsh explained.
RunBase, an Adidas store, sells official Boston Marathon running hear. Showers and lockers are available for people who need a base to meet up and train. In addition, there is a treadmill which allows people to run the actual 26-mile marathon course.
