Hundreds Turn Out for ‘Patriots Day' Extras Casting Call

Hundreds turned out Sunday morning at a casting call for a chance to be part of "Patriots Day," the movie depicting the Boston Marathon bombings and the manhunt in the days after.

The company Boston Casting was looking for general extras for roles, including police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, paramedics, SWAT team members and marathon runners.

Hopefuls were required to be at least 18 years old to get your role, and had to bring a photo of him or herself.

Boston's own Mark Wahlberg is acting in and producing the movie.

Recently Watertown denied access for filming in the area where the convicted bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was captured.

Some are calling this a chance of a lifetime, while others called it a historic moment for Boston. One thing is for sure: these people all want to be a part of the action.
