iRobot's Braava Jet Uses Disposable Cleaning Pads to Mop Floors

Ready...set...mop!

The iRobot Braava jet will tackle dirt and stains using disposable cleaning pads.

It is designed to wet mop, damp sweep, or dry sweep hard floors.

The Bedford, Massachusetts-based company will unveil its new mop bot on Tuesday, according to the Boston Herald.

"It's a small little robot meant to fit beside a toilet," product manager Kristy Catsouphes tells the newspaper. "Really great for people who clean hard floors. It's places the people are cleaning the most often."

The price tag stands at $199.99, according to the iRobot website.
