Another Section of Boston's Long Island Bridge was demolished Wednesday.
There is still one more span of bridge to remove after Wednesday's demolition.
The contractor has until April 30 to complete the project.
The bridge, which connected people to a homeless shelter and rehabilitation center on the Boston Harbor island, was closed in October after a failed inspection.
