Person Stabbed in Road Rage Incident

A statement from Braintree police said that a 30-year-old Randolph man was transported to Boston Medical Center after being stabbed “several times.”

Police are investigating a brazen stabbing following a road rage incident in Braintree, Massachusetts, Thursday afternoon.

Local and Massachusetts State Police said an argument between drivers on Granite Street preceded the attack, prompting investigators to close a lane of traffic on the busy road leading to Interstate 93.

A statement from Braintree police said that a 30-year-old Randolph man was transported to Boston Medical Center after being stabbed “several times.”

Police said they believe the altercation began near the intersection of Granite Street and Forbes Road, and ended a short distance away when both drivers left their cars and got into a fight.

Witnesses said a man laying on the road appeared bloody and injured. His identity was not immediately released by police.

“I pulled into (a nearby) parking lot and just saw a man laying on the side of road,” witness Dan Sheehan said.

Police are still looking for the suspect. No vehicle or suspect description was available Thursday night.
