A fatal accident involving a tractor-trailer unit rollover occurred in Lexington, Massachusetts, early Saturday morning.

Forty-year-old Charles Vancor of Lebanon, New Hampshire, died in the crash.

Liquid asphalt spilled out of the tanker, owned by JP Noonan Transportation Inc., causing a hazmat situation, according to police.

Massachusetts State Police said to avoid Route 128/Interstate 95 near exit 30 throughout the day.

Crews had closed lanes on both sides of the highway, but state police say all northbound side lanes were open by 2:30 p.m.

Two southbound lanes remained closed Saturday afternoon.
