Suit Up as David Ortiz in ‘Fallout 4' Modification

Richie Branson of Texas created the free download available for PC versions of the game

Red Sox fans who are getting their fill of Bethesda Game Studios’ post-apocalyptic vision of Boston in “Fallout 4” can suit up with David Ortiz’s jersey, thanks to a modification.

According to the Boston Globe, Richie Branson of Texas created the free download available for PC versions of the game. With it, players can wear Ortiz’s jersey as they explore Boston.

In an email sent to the Globe, the MLB plans on getting the download taken down as an infringement of rights.

Branson said he’s not making any money off the download and modifications to games are often encouraged by the game developers.

“Fallout 4” takes place 200 years after nuclear bombs ravaged the world and follows one characters journey through the wasteland after emerging from a fallout vault.

Bethesda recreated iconic locations in Boston, including the remnants of Fenway Park and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
