A high school student in Walpole, Massachusetts, allegedly posted scripts for a fictional TV show that suggested violence against the school's students and staff on social media, according to the town's superintendent's office.
The Walpole Superintendent's Office released a statement explaining that some of the characters in the show were named after members of the school's faculty and staff, and acts of violence against the characters were described.
Walpole Police say one of the victims found the website through social media on Sunday. The website allegedly provided specific scenarios of how each character should be killed and discussed a specific massacre.
According to police, the 18-year-old student was taken to Norwood Hospital and then Riverside Mental Health Center where he was evaluated. Meanwhile, police executed a search warrant at the student's home.
The Walpole Police Department is investigating. No charges have been field.
