A 14-year-old boy on a bicycle was hit by a car Thursday afternoon in Billerica, Massachusetts, fire officials said.
The boy was struck by a GMC Acadia on Route 3A.
The boy was seriously injured and taken to Lahey Clinic in Burlington. His condition is stable.
The driver, a 35-year-old Chelmsford woman, remained on the scene and was cooperating with police. She was not hurt, and no charges have been filed.
