New Hampshire Fish and Game officers say a 73-year-old man died after the Utility Terrain Vehicle he was driving struck a tree.
Officers say Timothy Scannell, of Concord, left his home on Thursday afternoon to ride his Polaris Ranger UTV on trails near his home. At about 7 p.m., when he didn't return, his wife called police.
Conservation officers found Scannell at about 3 a.m. Friday. They determined that he drove the vehicle off the trail and struck the tree, which caused fatal injuries.
