New Hampshire State Police say a wrong-way driver was under the influence of alcohol when he almost crashed head-on into another vehicle on I-93 Friday morning.
Michael Drake, 34, of Meredeth, was pulled over near Mile Marker 46 after a caller reported almost crashing into him near Mile Marker 52.4.
Police say his breath test indicated he was at twice the legal limit.

He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated 2nd offense and Reckless Conduct and Open Container.
He was released on $8,000 personal recognizance bail and is set to appear in court on Nov. 4.
It’s not clear if he has an attorney.
