Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, say a pizza delivery man fought off two men who were trying to rob him early Monday morning.
Around 1:20 a.m. Monday, police said they received a call from a 21-year-old pizza delivery driver reporting an attempted robbery. The driver said he was delivering pizza to 353 Manchester St. when he was accosted by two unknown men.
The pizza delivery driver said the two men had slim, athletic builds and were wearing dark colored, hooded sweatshirts. He believed both men were wearing blue jeans.
He said one of the men grabbed him as the other allegedly sprayed him with pepper spray or mace. The delivery driver was able to grab hold of one of the men and continued struggling with the other as one of the men attempted to reach into his pockets. Prior to fleeing the scene, the delivery driver was able to rip the sweatshirt off one of the men.
The two men reportedly fled toward Monadnock Lane.
