Police in Cranston, Rhode Island, say one person has been arrested following an early-morning car chase which ended in a fiery crash.
The chase began around 3 a.m. Monday in Cranston and ended in Providence after the driver struck a tree on Carr Street off Broad Street, according to necn affiliate WJAR. The car caught fire after the crash.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle with the "Jaws of Life."
The suspect has not yet been identified.
