2 Arrested After 800 Ecstasy Pills Found in Vehicle

A search of the vehicle yielded the 800 ecstasy pills, one gram of "molly", and under an ounce of marijuana

Rhode Island State Police say two Massachusetts women were arrested after 800 ecstasy pills were found in a vehicle during a traffic stop Monday night.

Police pulled the vehicle over on Route 95 in West Greenwich around 11:15 p.m. for a traffic violation.

The driver provided a license identifying her as Elaine Boyd, 29. Her passenger identified herself as Kendall Brown and did not have identification.

Further investigation revealed her name was actually Kendall Petty, 49, of Hyde Park, who had an active warrant for her arrest for failure to appear for the ability to pay on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

A search of the vehicle yielded the 800 ecstasy pills, one gram of "molly", and under an ounce of marijuana.

Boyd and Petty were arrested and are facing various drug charges.
