A man and his dog are safe, but two firefighters are injured, after an early morning fire broke out in Providence, Rhode Island.
Smoke was seen pouring out of the windows of a home on Silver Lake Ave. around 4 a.m., according to necn affiliate WJAR.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation at this time.
The firefighters were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
