Water Search Ends in Canton, Massachusetts

Police and fire personnel ended a search of Ponkapoag Pond in Canton, Massachusetts, following a report of a swimmer who went under on Tuesday afternoon.

State police said they were assisting Canton Fire with a report of a swimmer seen going underwater sometime around 3 p.m. The state police dive team and air wing were requested to the scene.

Later in the evening, authorities said they were no longer searching.
