Sunny Outlook Continues Over The Weekend

Outlook is sunny for weekend in Boston

Happy Thanksgiving! Our New England weather is delightful for travel across the region by day and night – surely cool for Turkey Trots, football games and any time outside with high temperatures generally either side of 40 degrees, but sunglasses and a jacket have been the only needed accessories for casual travelers to friends and family.

Although temperatures will drop below freezing overnight tonight, no moisture means no problems with black ice…just a chilly stop at the gas station on the ride home.

Another day of abundant sunshine is expected Friday, with temperatures nudging just a bit higher, but the real warm-up is slated for Saturday, when high temperatures will reach 55-60 degrees!

The recent pattern of oscillating warm and cool temperatures continues for the foreseeable future, with a Saturday evening cold front prompting a shower or two and returning seasonable temperatures in the 40s and 30s north for Sunday.

More of the same is expected next week – a dry and cool start to the week gives way to milder temperatures at midweek ahead of a shower chance with a passing cold front, then another shot of dry and cool air into the start of next weekend seems likely at the end of our exclusive Early Warning Weather 10-day forecast.
