The doors at Rockingham Mall in Salem New Hampshire opened at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. People started pouring in all night. Thanksgiving was not even over and already there was a mad dash to Christmas.
Some say Thanksgiving deserves it’s day, cautioning others to enjoy the holiday before putting the tree up and jumping into Christmas. Shoppers at the mall on Thursday disagreed. They said a deal is a deal, so let the shopping begin, even if it’s only a couple hours after eating your turkey.
“If there’s a good deal I’m for sure going out that night and getting some new outfits for Christmas,” said Katina Lopez, an avid Black Friday shopper.

The mall reopens Saturday morning at 6 a.m. for Black Friday for everyone to get items crossed off their Christmas list.
“It’s worth it knowing I’m going to get a good deal,” said Lopez.
