A driver was killed Monday morning after crashing into a highway toll booth in Bedford, New Hampshire, police said.
State police responded to the Bedford tolls on the Everett Turnpike southbound around 10:15 a.m. Monday. The driver, identified as Richard Cote, 65, of Manchester, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Cote lost control of his 2006 Jeep Wrangler and rolled over in the far left lane of the toll plaza. Another vehicle was struck, but the driver of that vehicle was not injured.
Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash, police said.
