The death of a Michigan woman who climbed a fence and was mauled by dogs has been ruled a suicide, NBC News reported.
Rebecca Lillian-Kay Hardy, 22, climbed into a Port Hurton backyard Dec. 3 and was attacked by a pit bull and Husky, according to police. She suffered severe facial and neck injuries and died after being airlifted to a local hospital.
Authorities said that she had entered the fenced-in backyard for "an unknown reason."
The medical examiner's office ruled Hardy's death a suicide, according to police.
