Police found two people dead at a home in Rhode Island Sunday.
According to police, they responded to a home on Bluestone Drive in Woonsocket Sunday morning after receiving a report of a possible shooting inside the home around 11 a.m.
Two people, one man in his 50s and one woman in her 40s, were found dead, police said. A 7-year-old child was pulled from the home.
A SWAT team was called to the scene and attempted to make contact within the home, police said. When those efforts didn't work, a tactical team entered the home and found the two victims with gunshot wounds.
Police are still on the scene investigating.
The child was examined as a precaution and is in the custody of relatives.
Police say they are not looking for a suspect and there is no threat to the community.
