A state police trooper was injured in an accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike on Friday morning.
The accident was reported before 8 a.m. on Interstate 90 east in Framingham. Four vehicles were involved in the crash, according to state police.
Framingham fire confirmed that they responded to the scene of an accident involving a state police cruiser in the area of Exit 12.
State police confirmed that a trooper who was in the cruiser was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for a laceration. He was conscious and alert when transported.
The investigation is ongoing. No further information was immediately available.
