Police in New Haven say there was no crime committed against a woman found on Rock Creek Road on Tuesday morning.
A passerby found the woman naked on a curb around 6:45 a.m.
A police supervisor on the scene initially told NBC Connecticut that the woman was found with tape over her mouth.

New Haven Police public information officer David Hartman now says that information is not true.
After investigating all morning and after speaking with the woman, police determined that no crime had been committed. They believe no one else was involved in the incident.
The woman was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
