Twelve firefighters have been taken to a hospital for evaluation after battling a three-alarm fire at a jewelry manufacturer in Cranston, Rhode Island.
WJAR reports the fire at Gem-Craft at 1420 Elmwood Ave. broke out around 4:30 p.m.
The Cranston fire chief said the firefighters all suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A hazardous materials crew and a decontamination unit are on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
