2 Pets Killed in Vt. Fire

Officials say the fire started after a candle with incense in it was left unattended for about 10 minutes

Two pets were killed in a fire in Rutland, Vermont Monday, according to fire officials.

Necn affiliate WPTZ reports the fire on North Main Street broke out around 5 p.m.

Officials say the fire started after a candle with incense in it was left unattended for about 10 minutes.

No people were injured, but about 12 people were displaced.

Officials also said two unruly people were taken from the scene in handcuffs.
