Nantucket, Mass. Man Convicted of Murder for Second Time

(NECN) - For the second time, a man has been convicted for the 2004 murder of his ex-girlfriend on Nantucket, Mass.

Thomas Toolan III was convicted Thursday of first-degree murder in the death of Elizabeth Lochtefeld.

The state's highest court threw out his 2007 conviction, saying jurors weren't properly screened.

Lochtefeld, a former New York City business consultant who had moved to Nantucket, broke up with Toolan a few days before her death.
