(NECN) - It was a long, cold wait for 200 passengers on a Metro North train in Connecticut Wednesday night.
Wire problems are being blamed for the breakdown.
It happened just before 9:00 p.m. near the Green Farms Station in Westport.
After it stopped, the train's battery lights came on, but it did not have heat.
Passengers had to wait nearly two hours before they could board a rescue train.
It's unclear if the wire problem has been resolved.
