    Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of Teen in Boston

    Boston police say an arrest has been made in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager in Dorchester last month.

    Jaquan Shepard, 20, of Lynn, was arrested Tuesday on a murder charge in the death of Philip Demings.

    Demings, 17, of Weymouth, was found on Dec. 19 in the area of 344 Bowdoin St. around 7:15 p.m., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

    Shepard is scheduled to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court. It’s not clear if he has an attorney.
