The victim of a weekend shooting in Pittsfield, Massachusetts has been publicly identified as an 18-year-old man from Dalton.
The Berkshire district attorney said Tuesday that Jaden Salois was found outside a home at about 2 a.m. Sunday with a gunshot wound to the torso.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting was ruled a homicide.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing and authorities have not announced any arrests. Police say there is no public threat and are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
