DA: Fishing Crew Pulls up Body in Nets off Cape Cod

Massachusetts officials say a fishing crew pulled up human remains in its nets off of Provincetown.

State police say US Coast Guards notified them just after 4:30 a.m. Thursday, and that a detective met with the fishing boat Hera after its return to Provincetown Harbor.

No identification has been made at this time.

The state's chief medical examiner's office has jurisdiction, according to the Cape & Island district attorney's office.

The investigation is ongoing.
