Police are investigating after two people were stabbed on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, early Saturday morning.
A 38-year-old man suffered a life-threatening wound to the stomach during a fight outside 7 Nana Japanese Steakhouse, police say. The other victim was stabbed in the armpit.
Both victims were taken to a hospital. They are expected to survive.
Worcester Police believe a suspect began fighting the victims in the restaurant's bathroom for throwing a barstool at them. The stabbing took place after the restaurant's manager made the three people leave the building.
