A Massachusetts man is scheduled to face a judge Wednesday in connection with a shooting on Christmas Day in Easton.

Lee Fruzzetti, 53, of East Bridgewater, is facing multiple charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a firearm, and carrying a firearm without a license.

Police said Fruzzetti allegedly shot a man in a home on Massapoag Avenue in the early morning hours of Dec. 25, 2017.

When officers arrived to the home, they found a 50-year-old man shot once in the shoulder and once in the side of his torso. The man, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.

Authorities had said they believed it was a targeted incident and not an act of random violence.

Following an investigation, Fruzzetti was arrested on Feb. 20 on multiple charges.

He is being held without bail on three separate cases facing separate charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, knife intimidation of a witness, and providing false information to a public safety answering point. Authorities said the charges are the result of three arrest warrants issued against him by Easton police.

In addition, police said there was a warrant out for Fruzzetti in connection to an incident on Jan. 28 at Corfinio restaurant on Washington Street, where he allegedly pulled a knife on a man during a confrontation. In that incident, police said no injuries were reported, but Fruzzetti fled the scene before officers arrived.

Fruzzetti is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Taunton District Court. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
