Morning fog and drizzle will slowly burn off to a mostly cloudy sky Wednesday, with peeks of sunshine in between.

Highs will be in the 60s to around 70 at the coast thanks to a light onshore wind, but we’ll reach well into the 70s farther inland where there will be a spot shower this afternoon. All of us still have a muggy feel to the air as well.

More patchy fog develops Wednesday night with a few spot showers as low temperatures hold in the 50s and 60s.

Thursday brings more clouds, and more showers and downpours, too. A few rumbles of thunder will be embedded in there too, with the best chance of heavy rain Thursday night into early Friday morning.

By Friday afternoon, however, our wind turns around to the northwest. That will allow less humid air to flow in, and it will help push away the rain and clouds. The clearing trend will continue into the weekend, which right now looks bright and breezy with highs around 80.

A few puffy clouds will develop over the mountains on Saturday, and there may be a sprinkle or spot shower there.

Another round of some showers likely arrives Monday into Tuesday, but after that, it looks like we dry out and turn brighter as we approach the end of June.
