    Two apartments were destroyed and one occupant was injured after a fire broke out in Brookline, Massachusetts.

    Police and fire crews responded to a fire at 1470 Beacon St. Fire officials told NBC10 Boston a 73-year-old was dragged out from the fire. Police later said one occupant sustained a minor injury.

    According to officials, the fire was contained to a single unit in the building.

    Shortly after 6 p.m., police said the fire had been extinguished.
