Vermont State Police have arrested a man accused of driving under the influence for his third offense.
Police pulled over Paul Roberts, 34, of Bethel, Monday evening for speeding and following too closely. Police determined during the stop that he was under the influence of alcohol and that his license was criminally suspended for a prior DUI.
Roberts was arrested for a third offense of DUI and a second offense of operating with a suspended license.
He was processed and released on a citation to appear in Windsor Superior Court on Feb. 17.
