Man Charged Following Interstate Crashes

Police say 51-year-old Paul Hannan of Derry faces charges of driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and conduct after an accident

A New Hampshire man has been charged after police said he crashed into two separate vehicles at high speeds on two interstates, including one that sent a driver and two children to the hospital.

Police say 51-year-old Paul Hannan of Derry faces charges of driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and conduct after an accident. It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.

Police say Hannan was traveling north on Interstate 93 on Thursday afternoon when he collided with a vehicle at the junction of Interstate 293 in Manchester and didn't stop. Police say he slammed into an SUV just south of Exit 2 on Interstate 293, causing it to flip on its side. The driver and children in that vehicle were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
