    Police Looking for Market Basket Robbery Suspect

    The Methuen police department is asking for the public's help identifying the robbery suspect.

    Police in Methuen, Massachusetts are asking for the public's help trying to find a grocery store robbery suspect.

    Officials say a male suspect walked into the Methuen Market Basket Friday night around 8:30 p.m. at 70 Pleasant Valley Street

    They say he may have been holding a firearm when he threatened to shoot the cashier if workers did not turn over money from the register.

    The suspect immediately fled the store after the cashier handed him money.

    The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, with medium to light complexion, approximately 5'4" to 5'5" in height, with a thin build and wavy brown hair. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing jeans, dark black sneakers with white soles, and a light blue hoodie with the hood pulled over a white brimmed ball cap that had some type of sticker on the brim.

    The suspect also wore a black and green striped face warmer which covered most of his face.e
