A pedestrian was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in Bedford, Massachusetts.
Police said the crash happened at 3:30 p.m. on Springs Road.
The pedestrian, who was not identified, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police said the driver remained on the scene.
The area was shut down while police investigated the exact cause of the crash.
